1) Iliotibial Band Syndrome
What is Iliotibial band syndrome?
Iliotibial band syndrome originate from overuse when the IT band becomes inflamed, and which results in ache, which is felt on the outside of the knee, but can occur anywhere along the length of the band, which includes the side of the pelvis or over side of the hip. It can become very difficult and painful to run, but the ache recedes as soon as you stop.
